I am on my second DS as the first one literally wore out in one year. Yes, the hinge broke like so many others have reported. The touch screen seems to get scratched and turn gray from dragging when playing VIRUS BUSTERS, which is my favorite..(played it every day for one year until it maxed out of memory..started over). I have about nine different games, BRAIN AGE 2 being my favorite (it includes virus busters). I still haven’t figured how to play SUPER MARIO. Wouldn’t be without one of these amazing gadgets.

This is great. Bought it for my 6 year old daughter. When her cousins saw it they had to have one, too. Holds lots of games. We are also able to get car adapter, earphones, charger, and Guitar Hero attachment in the pak with the Nintendo. Lots of room!

I purchased this product after reading the reviews. It has been a perfect choice for my 5 year-old daughter. There is sufficient padding to protect the DS when/if it’s dropped. There is plenty of room to store both the car and the electric charger. I agree that the elastic used to hold the games in is tight, however if it weren’t it would defeat the purpose as the games would fall out when you close it. The ones on the end seem to be the smallest, we won’t need to use them until we own several more games, and then we (the adults) would just keep our games in the end slots. The pocket in the front is great for keeping an extra stylus and battery. If someone wanted to keep the books in the case, I do not think there would be enough room unless you only stored the DS and the games in the organizer.

Hori has truly manufactured some really nice accessories for video game systems over the years. And they have done a splendid job in creating a durable and practical DS game card protective case. The compact design means that you can can squeeze up to 6 DS game cards into a single protective case, and travel without the need for lugging the much bulkier DS retail jewel cases. The product itself is made of a thick and durable, translucent plastic. It opens up from the side and you’ll note the design allows for the case to be used much like a traditional CD wallet. Simply place your DS game cards into the first 3 open slots, close the top lid so that it safely seals your initial 3 game cards, and flip it over to access the final 3 open slots on the bottom. The middle flap encased between a top and bottom door means it can withstand more impact than most single game case designs, because it’s thicker. So of all the DS protective cases out there right now, I believe this particular one is the most durable. Hori offers a few translucent colors to suit your tastes. Clear white is of course the easiest to see through.

Both ALS and Hori offer thick plastic builds and translucent see through cases, but only Hori offers multiple colors to choose from. Deciding that I’m not a really big klutz and only needed a case for taking the ds from one place to another, as opposed to a play through case, I got this one. Everything fits great and feels well protected! Another reviewer said you could personalize it by putting decals on the inside by taking off the rubber, but it didn’t work for me. Rubber comes off yeah (not like it falls apart or anything by the way) but i got a black case and nothing i put on the inside shows through the black plastic. Oh well it’s still a great case and I’m thinking of making or ordering decals to cover up the Intec logo on the top of the case. Well Worth It.

This is the perfect case in my opinion. It is hard shell with the Soft Latex liner. It holds six games in the lid and an extra stylus. I dont have to worry now with it banging around in my purse that it will get damaged or something getting into the card slots.

The price Amazon had was far less than locally. Having a lifetime warranty is another plus. This is a must have if you plan on taking your DS with you. I like it is not bulky also.

This case is the coolest. It’s a little heavy, but I never feel like I’ll break the DS if the case falls. It has a secure closure, 6 storage slots for your games, & a storage slot for an extra stylus. I bought it in black so the outside of the case needs a little jazzing up. The durability and protection of the interior makes up for the plain exterior. Look at it as an opportunity to exercise your creativity. Get it!
P.S. I had to rate this as a game so keep that in mind when looking at the star choices.

Well what to say about it. It’s a case designed to comfortably house you Ds Lite, an extra stylus, and 6 Ds games.
I’ve had this item for a month and I must say it delivers! The games fit in nicely and are not difficult to pull out nor is the game system.
The only problem maybe opening the case sense you have to push down on a buttong and then lift open the top. Not a problem for most but may be for others. It all depends. I personally don’t have problems opening it. All in all, I really enjoy my Dura Case and am glad I made the choice in getting it.

I was skeptical when I first read the articles citing adults were buying the DS and games like Brain Age to stay "sharp".

I am glad I bought one (along with Brain Age, Chess Master, Spanish and others). I find it has been a valuable tool to exercise my mind "outside of work" and also a welcome break from the daily torture of sitting at a computer all day.

If you love dogs this is the DS for you. it has a pawprint decal on it and a rare nintendogs best friends game.The Best Friends game has six popular breeds of dogs Miniature Dachshund(I also have a Mini Dachshund named Maggie)Beagle,Golden Retriever,Labrador Retriever,German Shepherd,and Yorkshire Terrier.I honestly think that the games are all the same.Once you get a lot of trainer points you unlock things that you can buy so you can actually unlock all the breeds like Chihuahua Dalmatian,Etc.The color of the DS looks better than coral pink,but I like the teal nintendo ds with the same game better. I don’t own either one of them but tmy friend has one and she has a ton of games. Trust me ,If you love dogs or nintendogs this is NDS Bundle for you.

For people like me that like nice and shiny stuff with a zelda symbol on it, this much resembles it. I like how everything is gold. It makes the DS feel much more smoother (Unless it really is). I even like how it included the Phantom Hourglass game with it (Which by the way, is amazing also).

Other than that if you want to pay for the extra money, then this is worth it. I like it 5 out of 5.

I got this gold color DS for my 7-year old son as birthday gift. This is the only toy that he still plays after couple of months and still loves it. Since his cusien came to visit with a white DS to share with him for a few days, my son started to ask for one from time to time. It seems it becomes a must-have for today’s kids. I played it a little but didn’t find it so insteresting, for sure kids have a lot of fun with it. I do noticed that the screen, image, and font are quite small, that may harm eyes if playing for longer time. Now I have to discipline my son for DS play time since I found he often cannot consentrate on homework when he plays DS too much.

I just wish I knew this "Metallic Rose" color would be available as a standard color before I bought it though…I feel a little cheated because I originally wanted the pink but opted to pay slightly more for the "limited edition" factor that made it a little unique compared to the pink. It didn’t help that I just bought mine about a month ago either… and only got to be unique for five seconds LOL… luckily I didn’t pay that much more but still it stings a little. The little "paw emblem" is not enough to make this version unique, it was the RARE C0LOR it "had" but I learned my lesson, I’ll never get sucked into buying something from big companies like this because it’s limited or whatever. Once it sells and starts raking in the dough for the company, it will no longer be limited. That’s just how big companies are.

As for the Nintendo itself,,,, I love it! I play it all the time and never get anything else done anymore. It’s definitely a fun system with lots of game choices available. I am probably addicted to it. I think it’s worth the price too… considering how much use I’ve gotten from it already! I hope they continue making lots of games. I also love the whole touchscreen aspect.

My only complaint is that I think it’s stupid that we need to power off the entire machine anytime we do anything or change a setting on the Nintendo instead of just being able to restart it or something.
Also, the microphone doesn’t seem to work very well. There are certain games that require voice input to play and a lot of them have problems understanding or hearing me correctly or will just cut out sometimes.

NINTENDOGS:
The game that came with this system was cute but I could see people getting bored with it quickly. I had fun with it for the first week or two and then I was dying for another game. It was also the only game I had at the time so that helped force me to play it more than I probably would normally. As far as a simulation game though, it’s pretty good and could be very close to having a real puppy (but not really of course). My five year old seems to love it so that’s that.

It does not match exactly the pink color of my DS but it protects it really well. You can store 6 games and an extra stylus, It’s hard,simple and good quality.

Overall I’m very pleased with this product. Its cute and compact. I can carry it in my purse. However, you should note that the customer image provided is not a picture of this case. The customer image shows a view of the front of a case with Princess Peach on it. Apparently this is not the same product. This case is just pink, and it says "intec" on the front. I have no idea why that other picture is there and I don’t know where you can buy this other case. A little disappointed that it didn’t match the image but still a good product.

I have owned this little hand-held for awhile now. I have never owned a DS Lite but my friend let me play his for awhile. I bought this version because that DS Lite was too bright and could cause eye strain or seizures. This one is more reliable. Some people have noted that the DS Lite’s Hinge can break easliy, but the DS has a re-enforced Hinge. But now my DS is becoming a little slower at reading games, i’m wondering if I should get a DS Lite or a Original DS?

the ds sucks compared to the psp
i have a psp and ive played a ds at my frends house
the ds would prob be good for younger people although alot of the games are boring and have no replay value(my frend has mostly every ds game out because hes rich) but the psp can play music, movies,games, u can go on the internet
and u can now listen to the radio and take pictures wen u upgrade the firmware
and the psp is lik 170 dollars now and the ds is 130
its only 30 dollars more so its not a huge jump
in other words save ur money and buy a psp trust me your going to hate the ds compared the psp
